How do you manage rent arrears? The Independent newspaper recently reported that the current volatility of the economy has both advantages and disadvantages for landlords and letting agents. On the plus side, interest rates are dropping sharply providing relief to landlords, and letting agents are reporting an increase in both the supply of, and demand for, rental properties. On the down side the prospect of rent arrears from tenants experiencing financial difficulties is growing. Read the full article here.
