A new RentPro release was made available yesterday evening. A comprehensive list of the features included in this release can be found on the RentPro announcements page. RentPro now allows the application of recurring tenant fees. Fees and expenses such as management fees, utility charges, etc. can be automatically applied on every rent due date. To apply a recurring tenant fee / fee schedule, edit an existing tenancy via the tenancies tab on the property view. The Fee Schedule is located in the bottom right of the screen. Note that fees will only be applied whilst the fee schedule exists, i.e. fees will not be applied retrospectively or after the fee schedule has been deleted. To view fees/expenses that have been applied as a result of a fee schedule view the Fees tab of the associated tenant. We've updated the online documentation to reflect this new feature, so consult it first if you have any difficulties in undestanding the changes. If you're still having bother then raise a support request, via support@rentpro.co.uk, and we'll help resolve your issue. RentPro API - link RentPro to your website Always wanted your vacant properties automatically listed on your website? Now you can with the launch of the RentPro API. An Application Programming Interface, or API, allows one piece of software, such as your website, to 'talk' to another, such as RentPro. Our new API allows details of your vacant properties, such as photos, features and bullet points, to be retrieved directly from your RentPro instance. If you have an existing website and you wish it to incorporate this capability, then raise a support request to receive a copy of our API specification. You'll then need to pass this to your website developer to make the necessary changes to your website. Note that a small surcharge will be made to your monthly subscription to utilise the API. If however you employ our sister company, K-Point Internet Solutions, to design a new website for you, then this surcharge will be waived.
