 Upsurge in suspicious email activity
In recent days we have experienced a marked upsurge in emails with subjects such as those listed below, and usually with ZIP file attachments. In some cases these appear to have been "signed" by "kpoint.co.uk technical suport".
- your mailbox has been deactivated
- payment request from "Colgate-Palmolive"
These are rogue emails, and most likely contain viruses or suspicious links. DO NOT OPEN these zip files, click links in these emails or reply to them under any circumstances. This may result in infection of your PC or compromise your online security. Simply delete the emails immediately.
This problem is not specific to our servers, but represents an increase in activity by spammers and virus infections.
All valid emails from K-Point will have the individual name of one of the team enclosed at the bottom, and will be branded in the same way as this.
